Funding provided by Nadder Community Energy from their Community Fund has been used to install PV solar panels on the roof of the changing rooms at the outdoor pool. The panels will provide renewable energy for the swimming pool and changing rooms, and the nearby cricket pavilion owned by Tisbury Parish Council.

Cllr Nick Botterill, Cabinet member for Climate Change said, "We are really pleased to have been able to work with the Nadder Energy to deliver this very positive project and outcome for the swimming pool, the local community and the environment.

"The system is expected to generate around 6100 kWh of electricity per year and is estimated it will save approximately £800 per year in electricity costs, leading to savings for both Wiltshire council and Tisbury Parish Council."

Alan Maryon-Davis, Chair at Nadder Energy said, "Tisbury Swimming Pool is such a great community facility we're delighted to have been able to support it through our Community Benefit Fund. And at the same time, we're helping the community reach zero carbon - so it's a win-win."
