| This includes the cost of standard 2nd class postage. Certificates can be sent by standard 1st class postage but customers will be charged an additional fee for this service. IMPORTANT: Occasionally certificates fail to arrive by post or may be late arriving. You must allow 21 days from the date of ordering before contacting the service to ask for replacement certificates. This period of time has been built in to allow for late delivery or return to sender if the post office have been unable to deliver for any reason. You can collect these in person or choose to have them sent out to you via post again. |
Express certificate service | £35

You must allow 7 days from the date of ordering a priority certificate before contacting the service to ask for replacements certificates. Fees must be submitted in the form of a cheque made payable to Wiltshire Council with the application form.

Cancellation of Ceremonies and Refund of Fees
All cancellations must be made in writing and can only be accepted from the customer themselves. We will not process any cancellation request made by telephone or by a third party.
Cancellations can be accepted by email, or by letter.
Any cancellation request MUST quote the ceremony booking reference number, the full names of the couple and full details of the date, time and venue of the ceremony. It should also confirm if a refund of fees is required.
Booking fee
- The booking fee paid at the time of booking your ceremony is non-refundable
Statutory Notice of Intent fee
- The notice fees, paid at the time of your notice appointment, are non-refundable
Certificate fee
- Any certificates paid for in advance and not issued due to cancellation will be refunded in full
Ceremony fee
- Ceremony fees are refundable in part or in full, dependent upon when you inform us of the cancellation in writing as set out below:
