In addition to traditional favourites and more recent Christmas songs the choir will be joined by special guest, Nicole Medin who performed at the choir's concert for Ukraine in March. Nicole's family are in Lviv and she will be singing traditional songs sung in Ukraine at Christmas. With one of the songs being, Take Me Home for Christmas, this will be a very emotional and thought provoking moment.

Denise Drew, Choir Leader said; "Our annual Christmas concert is an opportunity to hear some fabulous Christmas music, and also to join in with an informal singalong. We warmly invite everyone to come and join us and get Christmas off to a fantastic start.

"We are also inviting all Ukrainian families spending their first Christmas in Wiltshire and their hosts to come along."

The concert will take place on Friday 16 December, 7.30 - 9.30pm, at Holy Trinity Church, Trowbridge, to raise funds for Breakthrough Trowbridge.

Tickets costing £5 (under 16 s free) will be available on the door or can be reserved by emailing choir@wiltshire.gov.uk (opens new window). A raffle will take place during the interval and wine and soft drinks will be available.
