Work starting to refresh and update the leisure centre - April 2024

We're delighted to announce that the centre will be subject to some redecoration works in the coming months. Read the full story on the council's news page.

The work will take place over two phases. The first phase will require the temporary re-location of the main entrance, which will be signposted when required. The second phase, due June 2024, will see swimming pool refurbishment take place along with pool hall redecoration and refreshed poolside flooring. This will require the temporary closure of the swimming pool for two weeks which will be communicated once these dates are known.
