Birthday parties
We offer a variety of parties to celebrate those special occasions and we'd love to give your child a great birthday experience at one of our leisure centres!
All parties include a meet and greet, with the dry parties including a party host, a birthday card for your child and invitations for your guests.

Swimming pool parties
Adult to child ratios for swimming pool parties
There are adult to child ratios in operation for all pool parties.
If you are booking pool parties, you are responsible for the following adult to child ratios in the pool:
- 1 adult to 2 children under 8 years of age
- all non or weak swimmers must wear armbands
- an adult should be in reach of all children under the age of 8 at all times in the pool

Next steps
You've decided on the party you'd like, you've contacted our teams at the venue you wish to book and checked the availability of your party date. You simply need to complete a booking form (available from our leisure centres either in person on enquiry or we can email you this after your call) and return this to the centre with full payment in order to guarantee your booking.
Swimming pool parties can be booked up to 12 months in advance, sports hall parties can be booked up to 3 months in advance.
Further information
- if you are booking an area for the party tea, the time shown includes setting up and clearing away
- for health and safety reasons, please do not bring portable stereos
- if you wish to use a camera you must get permission from the duty manager and complete a form
Party refund policy
- if cancellation is received 2 weeks or more before the function date, a refund will be given
- if cancellation is received less than 2 weeks before the function date, no refund will be given
- where the date of the party is changed, there will be a £5 charge
