Wiltshire Council sites

Wiltshire Council own and manage three residential Gypsy and Traveller sites that are located countywide. These sites provide permanent accommodation in the form of "family pitches" on which a building is provided to facilitate:

  • Cooking
  • Washing
  • Bathing etc.

The families occupy under licence conditions and are subject to pay:

  • Rent
  • Council tax
  • Site service charge
  • Water
  • Electricity usage

They provide their own sleeping accommodation in the form of a caravan/mobile home.

If you are interested in applying for a pitch, or would like more information, please contact the Gypsy and Traveller service either by phone: 0300 4560100 and ask for the Gypsy and Traveller service, or email GypsyandTravellerService@wiltshire.gov.uk (opens new window).
